Dear Students,

Visit the 6th grade listening folder.

  1. Listen to each song while you...
  2. Follow along with the conductor's score.
  3. Listen for melodies and harmonies in different instruments
  4. Make some comments based on each song. Will the song be difficult? Will it impress the judges at Fantastic Festivals? Why do you think Mr. Strick chose this piece?

The song Sleeper's Awake looks a little hard. It might impress the judges if we all play together. I think Mr. Strick chose this piece because the we can play different type of songs.
Oh, the picture is funny, ha ha ha. He is so clueless on how to be a conductor.
